Duck[]
The presence of a duck was first feature prominently in the Total Drama Island episode Wawanakwa Gone Wild! where it was the chosen animal for Gwen to capture. She would be successful in her task before the others, although she had her share of difficulty in doing so.
A duck would appear in Return to Total Drama Island in the episode Fire Cannot Kill a Dragon, riding on a horse and jousting a tied up Sierra along with other animals as part of her punishment for not wanting to properly conduct a practice run with Team Snake.
Parrot[]
The parrot makes its appearance at the elimination resort, Playa Des Losers. The parrot ends up voting for LeShawna three times, being a major reason for her elimination. Izzy later adopts two parrots as pets in Total Drama Academy.

Raccoon[]
The first raccoon appears in the opening sequence for Total Drama Island when it is pushed out of a tree by a hidden camera. Duncan is tasked to capture a raccoon for the challenge. However, when he encounters one and threatens it with a chainsaw, several other raccoons appear and combine into a fearsome beast. It is complete with a very beast-like roar, raccoon launchers and glowing red eyes and proceeds to chase Duncan around the island. It shot more raccoons at Duncan's head, allowing him to catch one, and bring it to the cage at the campfire pit, and started communicating with a duck, also in the cage (courtesy of Gwen). It later attacked Owen after being trapped in the cage.
A few raccoons are seen in a later episode, on a chair floating down the river after the camp is flooded. In the following episode, Owen encounters a raccoon when he puts on the night vision goggles, which is seen catching a fish. It waves to him, and does not notice the Sasquatchanakwa running behind it. In Total Drama Academy, Duncan gives his girlfriend a raccoon as pet, having to choose between either a raccoon or a rat.
